KVCR

KVCR is a front-end to mplayer, mencoder and cdrecord which allows the user to record programs from the TV, play them back and burn them onto CDs. KVCR is not PVR (Personal Video Recorder) Software. It does not support Pausing and Re-winding of Live TV. Instead it aims to replicate the functionality of a VCR on a PC. Additionally it uses an XML file format to track the Name and Description of the program, in effect this acts as the label would do on a Video Cassette.
